3 days in the big city.

hi! hello! hi!
i have so much to tell you, blog.
like christmas & new years & how i've been wearing tim's beanie for 3 days straight,
& how eden is popping 8 teeth at ONCE this week.

but first.
san francisco!
tim surprised me with a 3 day spontaneous rondevu.
planned everything out, every meal, every stop.

told me to just show up.
and pack warm.

i love him.

now for a million pictures...

a stop at whole foods/ airport drinking. blech/ leaving lax after just watching cast away the night before/ never a good idea/

a day of shopping/ a late night run to get pizza in the rain at 11pm, just like in the movies. ha!/ a romantic view of the city from our hotel window/ bed jumping while tim showers...shh!/

magical mornings/ a loddy doddy lunch overlooking the city/ a trolley ride to the wharf/ the best seat in the house/ a million & one homeless people/ smiling faces everywhere/

a go cart rental city tour/ laughing with tears down my face/ that meep!ing horn that tim honked at every person on the street/ the look on people's faces as we passed/ the b-e-a-utiful bridge/ a lot of smooching/

no rain when it was supposed to/ a majestic sky full of God's glory/ more&more&more yummy food/ timmy lookin' mighty fine/

a lot of train rides around the city/ fish&chips at woodhouse/ a surprise show at the local hipster scene/

free starbucks continental breakfast/ a 49ers game/ getting lost by the train tracks/ an adventure that led us to some fancy shmancy italian dinner/

and, home.
3 days.
3 heavenly days.

san fran, you were good to us, once again.
you sure are a magical city.

I loved San Francisco, it is my favorite city of all the places I've gone. So beautiful. That view from your hotel room was crazy gorgeous too!

What a fun trip! I've never been to San Francisco but would love to go! Never heard of a go-cart city tour but it looks hilariously fun. Going away ( even just for a date) always makes the coming home ( to my girls) that much sweeter too. :) so I'm wondering-is your husband always a plan ahead type? Kudos to him.
