christmas favorites.

christmas this year was pret-ty amazing.
the girls are at the best age yet for magical, make-believe stuff.
so i take full advantage. muhahaa.
mr. elf was a december favorite for sure.
popping his little naughty elf face all over our house every morning was so. much. fun. to watch.
er, make-up.
i mostly copied other elfers.
people get really into this little guy.
i was an elf hater before. he is quite a creepy little dude.
i am now a believer. my apologies to all you prior elf on the shelfers out there. i was wrong. lol.
eden's hand-me-down poofy dress was a close christmas second.
is there anything cuter on a waddling, hands-in-the-air baby then an extra poofy christmas dress?
no. there isn't.

overall, it was a very merry christmas.
new traditions, mixed with some old.
my husband spoiled me rotten.
we actually made it thru the daily jesus storybook bible advent with the girls.
[okay, we missed a few days]
but overall Jesus was celebrated & adored & learned about...
and that made me very happy, indeed.
a christmas favorite for sure.
funny how a children's bible can speak to my heart daily as well.
that Jesus. he's awesome like that.
i hope to keep it up.
it was our very first with daddy working on actual christmas day,
but we made the best of it on christmas eve.
thank you Lord for face-time, amen?

and that's all i have to say about that.
thanks for letting me play catch up this week ;)
i have sick kids.
so i'm house bound.
and
super
bored
.
..
...
....
k, bye.

i want eden. she's such a little pixie.

the elf dude still befuddles me.

the Jesus storybook bible ministers to my soul deeply.
