so it turns out, turning 30 isn't so bad :)

before i go on my little blogging break for the month of july, i just have to share my birthday parties with you. because a girl only turns 30 once, ya know. and it was honestly the best ever.

[first, my actual birthday. sleeping in hotel style (hello, 11o'clock. somebody was tiiiiiired). a late lunch overlooking santa monica. a day on the beach with my family all to myself. and a motherload sandwich for dinner. bliss.]

this was right after audrey got clomped by a wave. and i made her take a picture. so mean.
i even got a little cake surprise when we got home, too :) i just love my family!
[second, a trip to the desert with my bestest friends. where there was lots of pool time, lazy river'n galore, virgin pina coladas ;), a comfy bed all to muhself!, the movies, and the best prenatal massage everever!]
what i was doing while they locked me in the bathroom to throw confetti everywhere.
and, um, seriously, the best shower i've ever been in. word.
i love my bffs. even when they pose like that.
oh-no-the-big-3-0!
my wish will come true soon enough. wink. cough.
open yer ojos.
we get a lil' weird when we're minus our childrens. just a little.
sun city, dog.
she'll kill me for this one, but it'll be worth it.
who puts a pregnant girl on a water slide? i know.
BAH! best. picture. ever. the. end.
20 wk fully glory belly shot. again, with an awkward hand. just be glad my butt's under water.
ya, we lost.
they are a good time. i am the luckiest. and i had SO much fun.
so there you have it. if you have to turn 30, you should do it just like that :)
now. must. get. sleep.
see you in august muchachos! i'll meeeeeess you!!!!
don't forget to write ;) (you know, the kind you put in the mail? hah.)
XO!

smfd academy graduation.

welp, it happened folks.
10 weeks came & went.
and tim made it to the end!
what a glorious day.
perfection from start to finish.
tim was on cloud9 the entire day.
surrounded by the people that love him most.
thank you Jesus for this incredible blessing!

i'll let the pictures do the talking (there's 300 more where these came from. heh.)

here's ellie the next morning in the hotel. happy as a clam.
i can still cry when i look at these.
to see where God has taken us.
this crazy journey that i wouldn't trade for the world.
to see tim in the santa monica blues.
that i got to pin that badge on after all of his hard work.
to see everyone in one room that have prayed for us, encouraged us, pushed us, loved us.
unbelievable.
okay, crying again. darn hormones. i'm gonna stop.
but seriously, such an amazing day.

next up, my birthday! oh, it was a good one. stay tuned...
