sad day at the pumpkin patch.
how come when we decide to go to the pumpkin patch, the weather decides to turn hot & ugly again?
the kids turned bright red as soon as we walked in the darn place,
and other than feeding the goats & jumping on the jumpy thing, it was a total bust.
don't let our smiles fool you. it was hot. no. fun. at. all.
every mom knows the only reason you go to a stupid pumpkin patch anyways is for the cute fall pictures. yup, nope.
didn't get even one. these were all we could muster up. did i mention it was hot? well, it was.
red, sweaty, crying kids=happy fall to us. and yes, i would like some cheese with my whine. :)

well poopy! i hate it when fun things turn out the way you don't want them to! at least you tried it! you could always go again before halloween comes and i'll go with you if you want :) we can let our kids run in the corn maze at the one in temecula!

Bummer. And here I am waiting for a day when it is warm enough (and not raining) to go to the pumpkin patch. We're going to try on Sunday (it's going to be a warm 46 degrees)! I hope you have a great mini-vacay!
I'm sorry your pumpkin day was sucky. the heat is killing me. It's october. I want to wear scarves dang it.

sad day indeed. There is something so wrong about sunshine and heat when all one really wants to do is wear cute sweaters and scarves and bask in breezes and coolness. Blerg!! I feel for you. But, ya know, even with the heat and the failed attempts at pumpkin patch bliss... you're all still pretty darn cute. ;)
