dear sunday afternoon,

thank you for being so kind to me in long beach. your crisp, clean air made me smile. & even though we had a pretty bumpy bike ride, there is nothing like a day with my family, all to myself.

dear sand,
i really don't like you, but my girls do. what's up with kids & sand? the minute they see you, they jump on in like your a swimming pool or something. & i find it days later in the randomest places. just sayin.' it's weird.

dear crewcuts,
why, oh why, do you hafta be so darn expensive? i can only shop your clearance rack, & still, you are too expensive for my peasly budget. don't you know i hafta buy two of everything? we had fun trying on all your cute headbands & girly sweaters though, so thanks for letting us dream in your store.

oh, & one more thing, thank you for letting my girls hang on your empty racks. we got yelled at, but it was worth it for the picture. crewcut models, eat your hearts out.

& mean, jcrew sales lady, poop on you.

xo, molly

Love the beach pics and letters. And, what the heck? How could anybody so much as reprimand those 2 cuties? She should have hired them as models. your blog makes me smile.

I get SO excited when your blog pops up at the top of my blog list as recently updated! I always can't WAIT to see what's going on in ellie and audrey world. Great pictures! And LOVE their shoes! Ewan (and me) needs a pair of those (velcro!). :)

a bike ride at the beach!! Perfect!! And yes, kids and sand... they seriously go together like PB&J. The other day I found a bunch of sand in one the girl's sunhats. We haven't been to the beach since August. hehe.

your girls are SO ADORABLE. I cannot imagine that lady had the ability to scold them. I know I wouldn't be able to. such cute pictures, all of them!
