brighter than sunshine.

it's storming outside.
at 100 degrees of yuck.
and here i sit.
in between the booms.
at 4:15pm.
still in my pajamas.
it's oddly quiet here.
a&e are snuggled up in my bed watching cartoons.
eden is taking her second nap of the day.
tim's working.

lazy days.
i love them.

i think i look through the 400 pics (i know, right?!) i took in maui daily.
daily!
wanting to write about it,
if only to remember every. single. detail,
but not quite finding the words to describe our time there.

as i sit here in this weird thunderstorm, my mind wanders off to that day in maui.
at the luau.
where it started to sprinkle on us.
and the sky was painted just so.
and God's wonder was everywhere.
where everyday was forever long.
where we sat there staring at each other, hands clasped so tight, saying, "is this for real? this is like a dream!" over+over+over again. every single day.

and, repeat.

every single day in maui was a bit of magic for us.
but how do you say that on paper without an eye roll or two? haa!

i fell in love with my husband all over again there.
eye roll.

and now i want to live there forever & ever amen, just so i can feel the way i did when i was there. no worries. no stress. no cares. just God's creation. just the two of us.

tim jokingly promised me that if he..., if we, made it through probation alive, he'd take me to maui.
the boy delivered.

the 400 pics will make their way here eventually (kidding! kinda. okay, i'm totally not kidding. maybe 300?), but until i find the words, i'll let the video tell the love story.
