and then i got brave & made the first move.
then she got brave & called me.
then we got really brave, and decided it was time to meet.
face to face.
with a slumber party, nonetheless.
in bako.
people thought i was crazy.
to drive all that way.
to spend the night at someone's house
that i'd never really met.
what if she....?
and......?
but i knew different.
i knew her story.
her heart.
through pictures.
through words.
God knew what He was doing.
and here we are today.
a few sleepovers
and many disneyland meet-ups later.
internet bf's.
finding any way possible to meet up every now and again.
[even if it means meeting in the middle somewhere, dragging all 5 kids to the beach. hello crazies.]
| just getting a fishtail braid in a bird store. no big deal. |
| saltwaters. all the cool kids have 'em, duh. |
it was seriously the funnest day. [most fun day? grammar, shrammer, people.]
and totally random.
we were all over the place!
but i wouldn't have it any other way.
overcast, [but hot enough to burn the crap out of my scalp.]
annenberg
beach picnic.
crazy hard stairs [eden & i opted out, thankyouverymuch].
a bird store?
yes, a bird store.
the park.
a ride on a firetruck.
the best mushroom soup i've ever had, ever, in my whole life, ever, at urth cafe.
oh, and pumpkin pie.
annnnnnd let's not forget chocolate cake the size of your face.
i loved it all.
i love her.
i love those sweet, blue eyed boys of hers.
i love that we're crazy.
thank you, lorieloo, for adding to my adventure book.
i love making memories with you.
just like a diamond commercial.
and thank you for proving my mom & every other friend wrong, and not killing me in the night at our first sleepover. wink.
