a little piece of five year old heaven.

[i better post this before they turn 6! hah.]

a+e are super into princesses these days. so to kick off their birthday month, my mom & i took them to disneyland [july 1st, before our passes were blocked for the summer] & pulled out all the stops. 

the most beeeautiful dress.

curled princess hair (that went flat in 2 seconds).

jewels & crowns.

fancy toes & fingers.

glitter. lots of glitter.

and of course heels (that quickly turned into rainbows . heh.)

i was that mom. 

the one that lets their kid wear a big poofy princess dress to disneyland in the 100 degree heat. 

yup. 

and they were in heaven. 

heaven, i tell you.

we let them choose any dress in the dang store & they both chose the cheap, fake, pink one.
oh well. they were happy. and we sure tried.

every princess needs face paint & glitter, dontchaknow.

and we were off to the princess ball to find our prince!

this was the best part of the day. every princess in disneyland came. they danced & sang to their lil' hearts content.
[and the girls thought it was all for them. hah!]

oh, to be a five year old. and believe that prince mason & prince ethan will pick you up on their shiny white horses at any moment ;) i love seeing life through these little girls' eyes. i think this day will go down as one of their best ever.
