confessions at 19 weeks.

+ i just washed down my prenatal vitamin with a dr. pepper & a whole lot of nachos. don't tell my doctor. or tim. but, but...i crave cheese like a mad woman!

+ i am so terrible at taking belly pics this time around. and i know i'm not large, but i feel so large. [maybe those nachos play a part?......nah!] all i know is, my thighs don't lie. so, all you naysayers, here you go. self portrait. a la' me. only the tenth try with the timer on my camera. you're welcome.

+ i turn 30 in t minus 10 days. [does t minus really anything? or did i just make that up?] anyways, one of the joys of entering your 30's these days is you have to get to re-take your driver's license pic. what a nice thing for a feeling-rather-round-in-the-face-girl to get to do for her birthday! a pic that'll probably stay with me til' i'm 60. oh, memories. sweet, sweet memories.

+ i sleep like poo. poo-poo platter on a stick. i'm only 19 wks. and i'm so uncomfortable already. pregnancy insomnia can pound sand. whiiiine, whiiiiiine, whiiiine. complain, complain, complain. there. i'm done.

+ a&e have been playing "moms" all day today. audrey is "ariel." ellie is "shamu." [lucky girl, eh?] i am "grandma." that one doesn't go over too well when you're in target & your darling daughters are calling you grandma. i just go with it. embracing my 30's already. wink. [kidding! geesh.] but them carrying around their purses & dolls everywhere we go today, is the cutest thing ever.

+ i got stung by a bee in my car today. while driving! [if you're my bff on fb then you already know this. just amuse me, mmkay?] the dang bee came out of nowhere! i felt something crawling on my leg. so naturally, i go to swat it, right? and it jumps on my finger & stings meeee! [as i swerve & scream all over the road.] then i had to get the stinger out, as i'm still screaming, and audrey & ellie are panicking in the back that's it's gonna get them! way to play it cool, mom. so if you were driving anywhere near me today, i apologize. it was the bee. i swear it.

+ i bought my second pair of maternity shorts yesterday. and maternity jeans. and a dress! i'm maternity girrrrrl, in full swing now. and you know those high wasted blue pants that i said i'd never wear? yeah, i wear them. and i l-o-v-e them. i think i might wear them til' i diiiiie. they're that comfortable. so if you wanna quit hanging out with me now, i totally understand.

[p. to the s. i'm closing up shop for the month of july. and i'm even considering taking a blogging/fb/computer hiatus in general. my other gig is shutting down for the month, too, so i figured, what the heck? some extra time with my ariel+shamu [before they start school for the rest of their lives & have a new sister to take care of] would be grand! why, yes. yes it would. i owe it to them. and i owe it muhself. so if you're wanting a print for yourself or a friend, nows the time. tick tock, people.]
