dear may,

+thank you for being the month to finally take my morning sickness away. i knew you would come, but i'm so glad you're finally here to stay.

+you are a little too hot for me, for only being may & all. can't you slow down the pace just a bit? i mean, i got the grandest sunburn of my life the other day at the pool. come on! can't we have a little taste of spring?

+on the other hand, i am enjoying all of the ice cream. and pool days. and jacuzzi nights. and long weekends. just not the shorts part. my cankles aren't ready to see the light of day just yet, so simmer down, would ya? wink.

+oh, and one more thing, please go fast & give me my timmy back. we miss him so. 8 more weeks. 8 more weeks. 8 more weeks? ay-chi-wahwah.

+as for the rest of you, dear may, i'm hoping for a long bubble bath, a good belly laugh or two, some better sleep, more fudgesicles from de jong's dairy, a tan baby bump, and if you keep it up, a trip to the beach with my chickadees.
