7 years married.
twin girls.
a cute lil' townhouse.
a baby on the way.
and a new patch makes lucky 7.

[oh, but wait. there's only 6 patches there.]
i'm so good at being nonchalant, eh? :) HA.

secrets out. [i have so many secrets lately! geez!]
tim got hired with santa monica fire department!!!

he did it. he made it. he worked so dang hard to get there.
and after going to orientation yesterday (while dealing with kidney stones! this guy is a trooper, but that's a story for another day) & coming home with santa monica shirts, it finally feels real enough to announce!

7 bleepin' years.
breathe. out.

we rode bikes around santa monica for our anniversary last monday. the whole time tim kept saying, "i can't believe i get to work here." A DREAM.

& i am so so proud of my tim.
all the glory goes to God.
all of it.
this was His gig.
His doing.
His favor.
His power.
His grace.
His mercy.
He never let go of us. through the calm & the storms. He never lets us go.
(heard that song at church last sunday & lost it! ohmy. definitely the theme song of our life right now. go listen! so encouraging!)
& so many of you prayed your lil' anxious hearts out for us. so thankYOU, too!

[we are ecstatic. humbled. overjoyed. nervous. happy. relieved. & most of all, truly thankful. still trusting it the Lord with all of our hearts, not leaning on our own understanding. trying to at least. cause hot dang, the road to get here was a bumpy one.]

but, santa monica. OHHHH, SANTA MOOOOONICAAAA! [darn you, oprah. i can't yell anything without thinking of you.]

no more working 2+3 jobs to pay the mortgage.
no more being husbandless every single friday night for 3 years.
i am so ready to have my husband back. thankyoujesus!!!!

but first. we hafta get through a 10 week academy & one more year of probation (the hardest year of your life we hear? ack.) i feel like with all we've gone through so far, God has already prepared us. so one teeny tiny year will be cake. right, God? ;)

**cue angels! cue all the prayers we can get!**

thanks for being excited with us, guys. i promise i'm done with the surprises for awhile. a baby! a new design gig! and a new job for tim! God is too kind to us. and we are so undeserving. just in awe of God's grace & guidance & mercy in our lives.

sooo, cheers to new adventures! cheers to the next chapter! i'm so ready to turn the darn page :) & cheers to YOU for reading this whole darn thing. [or if you're like me & skipped to the bottom, it's no wonder we're friends! ha!]
