our christmas home.

since most of you can't just come over right now in this delightful rain, & enjoy a cup of hot cocoa by the fire with me, this will hafta do. let's pretend, mmkay?

it's raining outside.
there's homemade frozen stouffers lasagna baking in the oven.
a+e are quietly playing at my feet watching nickjr in my bed.
tim+i are cuddled up on the lazyboy, watching reruns of miracle on 34th st.
okay, not true either, but it's fun to pretend, eh?

& here's a peek into our christmas home.

the advent house. filled with chocolate kisses.

even the bathroom gets some christmas cheer from mr snowman.

one day i was feelin' crafty & made this wreath.
then, 2 days later, i found them in the dollar bin at target. only me.

and a collection of vintage ornaments.

[we've been enjoying christmas decor since the end of november. & i'm kinda gettin' the itch to take it all down. i think i'm gonna be one of those that cleans up on dec 26th. just like my mom. it's happening, isn't it. i'm becoming my mother :) ]

oh, and p.s. how can i leave without showing you how cute a+e were in the church christmas choir on sunday?
