the yesterdays.

i was looking in my passport of old photos for something (can't even remember now. ha.), & stumbled on all of these old pics, bringing me back.

remembering highschool. & winter camps. & being so carefree & innocent.
where friday nights consisted of toilet papering or getting toilet papered, in-n-out, & probably some cute boy stalking.

working at hogi yogi (my first & most favorite job to date!), where we goofed off for hours on end, gave everyone we knew free sandwiches, locked each other in the freezer, froze each others hats after a good dip in the toilet. ahhh, the good ol' days.

remembering our first apartment days & how much fun we had. solid rock nights, first roomate fights, first dates, being a part of the living room, getting fired from sport chalet. being so hardcore.

watching my brother go from one tat, two tat, three tat, four,
five tat, six tat,
seven tat, more. :)

remembering braden. oh, my baby braden. before kids, you were all mine (& your mom & dad's. heh.) i didn't know i could love so much.

& then there were the 2 years of dating the man i didn't know would eventually be my husband. weird.
& the awkward brown hair phase. ewww.

our honeymoon. oh, maui. you were so good to us.

getting the keys to our very first home.

memories of trips to mexico with the bishops.

old, good friends. & thanksgiving parties to boot.

remembering the first feelings we had when we saw 2 heads on the ultrasound machine. whew. what a trip.

& what it felt like to be a fresh new mama. so in love with a heart that could explode. so tired. so unsure.

remembering all the people that came to visit. who loved our babies just as much as we did.

missing my papa & his dry humor & sayings for just about everything.

watching a&e grow & change by the minute from my little 3 pounders into little chubs.

seeing my family before all the grandkids. what did we used to talk about? ha.

welp, that was an unexpected lil' trip down memory lane for me. i love when that happens. reminds me to continue acting in faith. continue being filled with hope. & continue living out love (not my words, but good ones i just read from 1 cor 13:13, eh?).

because this is what life is made of.
because it really does go by so fast.

& i am so beyond thankful for every new day.

Love doing this! Just did the annual 'go-through-all-the-memory-boxes' during this last move. :) But I gotta tell ya, when the pics started going through baby memory lane I scrolled to the bottom of the post real fast to see if it was leading to an announcement. Hehe. :)
