you're the God of this city.

this last sunday, i got to be apart of a beautiful story of restoration, hope, love, courage, & obedience. instead of doing church, we got our butts out of the seats, & we were able to be the church in our community, serving our city. i have never been apart of anything like this & it was truly an amazing day.

i don't have a before, but just think weeds! lotsa weed!

my group was so cool! they even agreed to take a picture across the st in front of this sign! awesome!!

our pastor has had a heart & a vision from the very beginning for the restoration & rebuilding of this city. after leaving on sunday, i felt encouraged by God's people, his power, his grace, & i definitely knew my heart & faith had been restored & changed. it was like summer camp afterwards, everyone chomping at the bit to share their story of the wonderful things God had done! we were all united & it was a feeling i hope never fades away!
this day was just the start, the start of something big in lake elsinore. who knows what God intends to do, who will be touched & changed! all i know is i'm so excited to be apart of it! if you couldn't be apart of it this time, you definitely have to come next time! you won't be sorry!
this song makes me cry every time i hear it. the words remind me of sunday...for greater things have yet to come, and greater things are still to be done in this city.

What a sweeeeet group of peeps taking care of LE! :) And oh that song... I hafta tell ya, worshiping along with Chris Tomlin to that song at the Harvest Crusade while new believers were marching onto the field... amazing. I haven't stopped listening to it since!

Thanks for posting that Molly. I love that song. I get chills every time I hear that line -greater things have yet to come . . .. Those pictures tell that story. And, thank you, thank you for praying for Maren.
