so many cute pictures, my heart could pop.

i don't know about you, but i could watch little kids dress up in real firefighter's boots all.day.long. (okay, that sounded a little weird, but if you saw these kids' faces, you would say the same thing.) seriously, the cutest darn thing i think i've ever seen!

today, we went to tim's station for family fire day! it really was a whole lot of fun! there's nothing better than seeing little kids looking at these firemen put out a car fire, like there's no one braver in the whole wide world. the best part was at the end, when we had to leave..ellie gave tim a hug goodbye, then after walking a few steps, turned around, ran back to him, and hugged him again, not wanting to let her daddy go. (if that wasn't a run-on sentence, i don't know what was). her little head was all nestled in his chest, like a baby bear cub & her papa bear.

it's days like these i am reminded just how proud i am to be a part of this family..to be a&e's mom..to witness little moments like this..stand back & take it all in (and maybe cry a little.)
