i remember the day you were born like it was yesterday…getting the phone call that my baby brother was about to become a daddy..racing to the hospital, only to wait what seemed like a million more hours, until you finally decided to make an appearance in the wee hours of the morning!
you were beautiful (SO worth the wait!)..& i was so emotional watching my brother instantly fall in love with you. & then you scared us half to death, and landed yourself in the nicu..i cried and cried..and prayed and prayed. but God is good. so good. 
now, one whole year later, you are a healthy, happy-go-lucky baby boy with the greatest smile. you have the sweetest personality in the world…so laid back & smiley all the time. & those cheeks! oh, those cheeks! you don’t even mind it when i nibble on them every five minutes. i love that you raise your hands to worship, whenever you hear music. i hope you never lose your worshipper’s heart. (or those squishy, yummy, hangy, cheekys) (okay, you can lose them when you’re ready, but not until you’re like 12!)i love you madix! happy happy first birthday! i am proud to be your auntie!
