ellie wears her favorite ballerina shoes & her favorite beatles shirt. if she could wear this every single day, she would.
audrey reads her favorite book & walks around with her boots on the wrong feet all day.
mommy wears her hair in pigtails like she's five (but give her a break...she actually got to workout today & she can't afford to get her hair done & it barely fits in a ponytail yet. so there.)
daddy calls from his second day at his new job loving it! (oh & did i mention it's only 10 minutes away! ) go daddy!
and even though the dishwasher's broken, the laudrey's piled high, and the house is a mess...who cares. today is a beautiful day.
and i just lost it when i saw this video. that right there is who i wanna be.

Amen! Today is a beautiful day! I successfully spray painted a number of frames and random stuff around my house (poor mans way of redecorating) and potted some lovely new flowers. No I didn't clean my house even though my parents are coming into town tomorrow... but who cares! It was a GREAT DAY! :-) Glad your day was awesome too.

Wish i could have hung out in your messy house with you. I would have brought my boys in their monkey suit and Buzz suit cause they never want to take them off and I would come in my jammies cause I never want to take them off...dang school! The video encouraged me....I'm crying!!! It's been a tough couple days. I just found out I am losing my job. The district is laying off teachers back to 2004...and that's where I am. Even in the midsts of uncertainty, "Praise Him." God has a plan, and yes, today IS a beautiful day! Thanks for the post...love you.
