I was reading my small devotion for the day, and came across this verse. The story was from The Hiding Place where Corrie Ten Boom is in a concentration camp, and even though she has lice from head to toe, she still manages to thank God. Corrie later found out that the guards would not go into her barracks because of the LICE! God used the lice, allowing Corrie and her sister to have secret Bible studies where they lead many people to Him!
It's not easy for me to give thanks IN everything! There are some things that happen that I'm just not thankful for. But, no matter what, I need to remember that God is still in control, using the smallest of things to bring Him glory! I don't necessarily need to be thankful FOR everything, but definitely IN everything!
So today, here's what keeps me thankful...the things that are always constant in my life:
My sweet husband...there's no one like him! We went on the best date the other night. We can still just talk for hours about nothing and everything! He works so hard for us! And even though he's been in between jobs for two weeks, God has provided side jobs to pay the bills!
God's miracles...they're all around me!

My family...where there's always acceptance and the feeling of home! 
My friends...It sounds cliche, but God has blessed me with more real friends that a girl could want. I'm so thankful for these girls in my life.

Sometimes I forget to sit back and actually take the time to thank God for all that he has provided. My husband is my #1 reason to be thankful. He's supportive and patient... sometimes I think I need to take a lesson in those things from him. :-)
And even though things have been tight financially... I'm learning to be thankful for being laid off in January. With out that... I probably never would have taken my photography business full time. I'm so thankful to be one of the few that actually gets paid for her passion.
Hey...thanks for the funny sweet picture of my and being thankful for our friendship. Cheesy moment but I am really thankful for you too! You always keep me laughing and always keep it real!
