you're gonna miss this, you're gonna want this back...

i want to remember...
-the way ellie and audrey interact with one another. no one can make them laugh harder than each other.
-ellie’s little gerry curl on the very back of her noggin..cute hair turns afro puff in 5 seconds flat.
-the way audrey says guy-guy instead of bye-bye, with her big goofy grin.
-the new diaper obsession…they try so darn hard to get the diapers on their babies.
-how they still love their baba (yes, they STILL have a baba…don’t judge me), and how they run to the kitchen when i say let’s go ni-nite so they can push the buttons on the microwave.
-audrey’s love for tim..whenever he gets home their little faces light up, but it’s audrey who jumps on her daddy every time in need of a good tickle. ellie just observes and laughs.
-the way they count…one, two, figh, two…two is the favorite number.
-when i ask them where their eyes are, they both point to their ears every time! we’re working on that one! they do know their nose, teeth, hair, hands, and toes!
-how audrey takes her diaper to the trash can and is so proud of herself.
-ellie looks away when she’s in trouble; audrey stares right at you.
-the way they dance when any music comes on! especially when my dad plays the guitar for them! they love to shake their booties!
-ellie’s obsession with flip-flops and the way she puts them on backwards and walks around all day, tripping on everything!
-their love for the chinese language HA!
-how they sign to jesus loves me…just melts your heart!
-the way they sit and read their books in their own crazy language!
-ellie’s love for people and how she’s chatty like her daddy.
-audrey’s love for ganny.
-how i sit them in their little sink to do their hair! i say, “let’s do your hair,” and they both run to the bathroom. by the time we’re done they’re both soaking wet from the sink being turned on and off, on and off.
-ellie likes her arms tickled; audrey doesn’t.
-ellie is definitely a lefty; audrey is a righty..they need each other.
-their love for water!
-how sweet they are around babies!
-the way they play ring around the rosies and ellie gets mad when you “all fall down.." she just says up, up, before you even hit the ground!
-their little painted toes and how they sit there patiently when i paint them!
-the smell of lavender lotion after their bath…nothing smells better!
i could go on and on and on, but i have such a bad memory that sometimes i'm scared if i don't write it down, i'll forget about all the funny little things they used to do! i never want to forget their sweet innocence! i mean, they turn TWO in a couple of weeks! i'm allowed to get a little sentimental, right?!
...i'm gonna wish these days, hadn't gone by so fast...gosh, that song makes me cry every. single. time.
p.s. hello, it's july 11th today!! that means FREE SLURPEE DAY @ 7-eleven!! 7/11 people! go get your free slurpees!

o my!! crying! not just a tear rolled down my check...i'm REALLY crying! they have got to be two of the most precious miracles God has every created!

i'd like to add, i do remember and have been able to share in a few of those moments! either watching them with you or hearing about it on the phone!! if they only knew how much they are loved endlessly!!

and, i've got to mention!...this last picture, who made them smile that big?! i think it was their goofy auntie mawoomba! well, maybe it was you molly but i was standing right by, so i'm gonna tell myself it was me!!!!

man, the times you've mentioned...some made me laugh and some made me cry!!! how awesome you get to hang around them everyday! it amazes me everytime i'm around them (i know it hasn't been much lately-sorry!) how individual they are! and at the same time such a team! they each have such a big piece of Jesus in them! how can you not believe in the love of Jesus with these two!! wow...they are just...precious!!

ok...so let me help..with a few funny times that i'v noticed from the outside (feel free to post curtosy auntie mawoomba! or is it autie duh-duh now!)..here we go!...

-how ellie coughs...DRAMATICALLY...like her MOM!!!
-audrey's great-and i mean GREAT stare! you know the kind that makes you question yourself! soemtimes i've had to remember i'm the big person here! she doesn't mean to stare me down that way!!!
-i've got to share with you molly, if that's ok...their big smiles, c'mon guys don't they just make you happy inside!
-and while we're here..let's turn some of the memories toward...MOM! remember the times she's...
-moving to Mexico, she doesn't want to be found!
-she's ready to choke herself in hopes the insanity stops!
-the times she's been able to pick up the poop they've trailed across the floor and..played in along the way!
-AND...every single time she's made it through one more day, still on top, still happy, and still loving those two little girls with all she has and showing them the love of Jesus they will forever see in her! This is her gift! She's meant for this stuff!..love you mols the walls!!

-and then, my personal favorite...(this one's i guess a little selfish and centered a little more towards me?!) the way they let me hold them and be a part of their lives and rock them to sleep when they were so tiny!! thanks to tim and molly for letting me have that memory!

alright...well, i didn't mean to jump in but i was thinking of a few and had to share! man...i love them, they just make my heart smile! thanks for letting me share in that!!

oh, and p.s...promise when i have my own kiddies this obssesion will calm itself down!! but until then..i mean c'mon molly's my BEST friend and I was there when they were born!!! they can do wrong and i love everything they do!...-"nanny 26!"

you made me cry!!! it's so amazing how fast time goes by. Abby turned 4 months yesterday and she had her first taste of rice cereal today--she is so big!! It's crazy how much you can love such a little person. your girls are beautiful.....

Oh my gosh! I hate that stupid song--every time I here it, I want to cry! And then you go and apply it to your life and kids, and, well, talk about emotional! Anyways, thanks for sharing! It's all those things you listed that are what make kids so amazing and it does go sooooooo fast! Thanks for making me cry :) And I will never judge you, because my girls still drink a ba-ba too, and they love it so much that I don't even have the heart to try and take it from them!

i sooo know what you are talking about. it is funny to me that people say dont let you kids sleep in your bed or dont hold them too much. but i have made it may goal to take naps with my kids and hold them all of the time and i dont regret a second of it. that song makes me even happeir that i have done that with my kids. what do the experts know anyway. i soak up everything i can with my babies, and i am proud of it. besides, they are not always going to want me to hold them and take naps with them.
