whenever tim or i see a headlamp, we immediately think of melinda and laugh, HARD! i guess you would've had to be there to get the "funny," but when we ventured to europe in 2001, melinda was all about her headlamp! i lol just thinking about her in the middle of the night journaling or something and looking right at us with her big ol' goofy headlamp on! thanks for the laugh mel.
anyhoo, yesterday our entire neighborhood had the electricity turned off until about 11pm! i hid out at my mom's until about 9:30pm, but when we got home, the only flashlight we could find to get up the stairs were these ridiculous headlamps! the girls thought they were hilarious, soooo being the nice parents we are, :) we let them stay up with us and wear the headlamps!! they LOVED them! it was actually kinda cozy with all the candles lit and nothing to do but enjoy each other and get some good laughs in!

then there's audrey, who manages to STILL find my shoes in the pitch black, and insisted on wearing the light like sunglasses...
they wear them like pros, mel. you would be SO super proud!
