i'll be the first to admit that i've had a bad attitude lately. more times than not, it's easier for me to just be negative when i'm feeling blah. ask tim :) getting away for the weekend gave me fresh perspective and allowed me to clear my head. i was able to leave all my worries and cares back home and just be free. i felt like a kid again, all giddy and in love. we ate the best food, had the best conversations, held hands, rode bikes, ate frozen yogurt, took lots of silly pictures. it was the best anniversary we've had by far!
i got home and read a fellow bloggers words of wisdom (here)...she nailed it on the head when she said, If you're feeling flat, stuck, hopeless... start with the asking. In the quietness of your heart, just ask for joy. "Lord, give me joy." Oh, He will move mountains to bring it to you. He will. He will. He will.
He HAS! AMEN! :)
