may we always be aware that there are many hurting and broken people out there this thanksgiving too. people that need to be loved. people that need hope. may we be His light this holiday season and remember people in need. may we have the guts and the courage to go to these people and bring them Jesus' hope. (i'm not trying to preach...this is a huge reminder to myself more than anybody.)
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:3-10
