16 days of thanksgiving.

today i am thankful for my sweet nephew, braden leif.

he was my very first baby love.

my first nephew.

my first baby obsession before i had 2 of my own.

he stole my heart with his long eyelashes & big hazel eyes.

he has sweetest braden smile, too.

and i'd like to think that i can still make him laugh harder than anyone else.

i am his favorite aunt and all. wink.

you're a big 6 year old now, b!

that doesn't mean that i still won't let make you sit on my lap
& hug the poop outta you.

here's the deal: this year i'm selling the JPG ONLY. 5x7. 20 bucks. which means, i email it to you & you get to print it yourself :) makes it much more enjoyable for me. i'll be putting them in my etsy shop by the end of the week with all the details & directions.
pretty easy though...1. you purchase a card at tankandtink.etsy.com, 2. you email me a pic or two & the words you want, 3. i make it all snazzy & send you a proof, 4. you scream with christmas glee, 5. i send you a final copy, 6. you print them to your hearts content, & 7. i drink my christmas tea. done.

BUT, this would not be as much fun if i didn't have
a GIVEAWAY to go along with it.

today i'm thankful for
buttery popcorn. extra butter drizzled on top.
a good, much needed, ugly cry.
people that love me no matter what.
a God that knows me & loves me still.
a husband that lets me sleep in when i've stayed up way past my bedtime.

first dentist appointments with no cavities!
the girls thought it was better than disneyland.
finding nemo. thank you for entertaining a&e for the millionth time in their life, even if only for an hour + a half. i owe you one, buddy.

hmm, nemo didn't last very long. now audrey's taping my eyes shut as i type this. she says she has a "surprise" for me. awesome.

23 days of thanksgiving.

today i'm thankful for sweet, random, early morning conversations (nope, she didn't sleep in this morning) with my audrey,
that go something like this:

mom, mason goes under his bed.

he does. he hides under dare.
not big mason. little mason.

ganny's fish died.
i know.
uncle bwad used a shovel like this (shows me how he shoveled the koi fish)
by the yemon twee.
now it gwows bigger.
maybe it'll (the fish) come back all better.
ya, maybe (still half asleep)

ollie's not tall. she's small.
yup.
tickle my arm, mom!
okay.

that audrey. she can talk for days. (hmm, wonder where she got that from? ha.)
i just love her.

24 days of thanksgiving.

today i'm thankful for
sleeping in.
pancakes in bed.

the 66 freckles on audrey's cheeks & nose. (i didn't count ellie's yet, but she has quite a few less.)
lunch dates with karis.
a game of go fish with braden.

cute hats on really bad hair days.
the freedom to vote.
a new friend in my kitchen (a&e named him ollie the owl. isn't he the custest?).

finding old honeymoon pictures. man, that was a good day.
